Holiday – Acrylic painting by Elena Grumann

Acrylic and mixed media on canvas | 100 x 100 cm

Discover "Holiday," an expressive original painting full of joie de vivre, warmth, and carefree vacation energy by artist Elena Grumann. Contemporary abstract painting in an imposing square format – a powerful homage to sunny days, inner relaxation, and the liberating feeling of recuperation.

The Artwork:

The large-format artwork captivates with its vibrant color dynamics and the playful interplay of various painting techniques. In the upper part of the image, powerful, impasto brush formations in deep blue, ruby red, and coral dominate against a luminous background reminiscent of a glowing sunset. Downwards, the composition opens into flowing, translucent color gradients, delicate drip paintings, organic swirls, and golden accents. Grumann combines bold palette knife strokes, fine spray mists, and delicate lines to create an atmospheric overall experience that exudes pure summer freshness and relaxation. The color palette masterfully balances sunny yellow, fiery red and orange, vibrant magenta, cooling sky blue, rich green, and metallic shimmering gold tones.
