Burning – Fine Art Photography by Malte Lüdemann

Strictly Limited Fine Art Photography (30 Copies) | Available on Matte Aluminum Dibond or Glossy Acrylic Glass | Incl. Certificate of Authenticity

Discover "Burning," the internationally award-winning masterpiece by Hamburg-based fine art photographer Malte Lüdemann. The photograph was taken on the Elbe River in Hamburg and captivates with the spectacular optical illusion of a burning river wave – a breathtaking moment where the elements of water and fire merge in perfect visual harmony.

The Artwork:

In this masterful composition, Lüdemann captures the fleeting moment on the Elbe in Hamburg where the golden-orange light of the low-hanging evening sun meets the crest of a raised wave. Through targeted long exposure and the dynamic currents of the Elbe, the spray transforms into a blazing tail of pure fire and sparkling light. The dramatic contrast between the glowing hot band of amber, gold, and red-orange and the velvety, deep dark night blue of the water creates a hypnotic dynamism and exceptional spatial depth. A powerful, internationally celebrated statement of contemporary Hamburg fine art photography.
