Goat

Goat – Oil Painting by Björn Kirste

Oil on hardboard | 40 x 50 cm | Original / Unique Piece | 2026

Discover "Goat," a work of art by Björn Kirste that instantly brings a smile to your face. Expressive realism with wit and character – a humorous unique piece that combines the highest craftsmanship with a zest for life.

The Artwork:

At the center is the frontal head of a goat, impishly sticking its tongue out at the viewer. The ears, stretched wide outwards, give the animal an almost dynamic, ready-to-fly silhouette. While the left ear is in semi-shadow, the right ear is illuminated by an intense light source – in brilliant orange and red tones. The background in vividly structured violet-lilac makes the goat's white, finely nuanced fur stand out almost sculpturally. The painting surface on sturdy hardboard allowed for a particularly powerful and precise brushstroke.
