As a starting point for her paintings, Ulla Kutter often uses her own photographic collages from various perspectives and shots. However, photorealism is not her goal – rather, she creates a very personal, artistic interpretation of a situation. The focus of her painting lies in the deliberate composition of light, shadow, color, and a lively mood.
