Gerd Pfanstiel (born 1956 in Thuringia) is a German painter and sculptor whose work is characterized by powerful, expressive oil painting and sculptural design. Inspired by the greats of art history such as Renoir and Delacroix, he combines masterful technique with passionate light and color design.

Gerd Pfanstiel combines sound academic training with intensive self-taught development:
